Justlife - Manchester

The Justlife Team provide specialist support to people living in unsupported temporary accommodation (B&B’s/Guesthouses). Justlife also supports people on probation placed in Council Temporary Accommodation.

Whilst Justlife have a centre in Openshaw which people can come to for an appointment or on the spot advice, our service focus is now on providing outreach to multi occupancy properties providing temporary accommodation for people who are not in receipt of council support (duty). Our teams visit these properties regularly in the Justlife minibus to provide well-being checks, on-the-spot advice and to follow up with people who are already engaged with support.

We continue to support people to troubleshoot issues relating to benefits and their accommodation, to connect to other support services and to identify more suitable longer term accommodation both via appointments in person (at our Openshaw Centre) and on the phone.

Our work with people on Probation living in Council Temporary Accommodation is via referral only and involves providing one-to-one support which is client led.
